There are many factors affecting the fracture resistance of the teeth; such as, ferrule and the type of cement used as the luting agent. The purpose of this in vitro study was to investigate if the resin cement used was able to improve the fracture resistance of teeth restored with cast post core crowns. Materials & Methods: In this experimental in vitro study, 40 intact second mandibular premolars were endodontically treated after their crowns were removed so that the remained root parts were 15mm. The teeth were divided into four groups of ten teeth each. Groups 1 and 2 had ferrule while groups 3 and 4 were non-ferrule groups. The posts of groups 1 and 2 were cemented with Glass Ionomer cement, while the posts of other groups were cemented with resin cement. Then the crowns were made in the same shape in which we could apply the compressive load with 1mm/min speed at an angle of 45 degrees on the buccal cusp tip to induce fracture. ANOVA and t test were used for statistical analyses. Results: In ferrule group cemented with Glass-Ionomer, the mean fracture strength was greater than non-ferruled group cemented with Glass-Ionomer. There was no statistical difference between the ferrule group cemented with resin cement, compared with and non ferruled groups. Conclusion: In teeth post cemented with resin, cervical ferrule does not increase the fracture strength of the teeth significantly.}, keywords = {cement,fracture strength,post core}, title_fa = {تاثیر فرول و نوع سمان بر استحکام شکست دندان های پست، کور و کراون شده}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه:یکی از شایع ترین روش ها جهت بازسازی دندانهای درمان ریشه شده، پست، کورو کراون می باشد. عوامل متعددیمثل میزان سطح باقی مانده دندان در بالای مارجین تراش (فرول) و نوع سمان مصرفی برای چسباندن پست بر استحکام شکست دندان های بازسازی شده با پست، کور و کراون تاثیر دارند. هدف از انجام این تحقیق پاسخگوئی به این پرسش بود که آیا استفاده از سمان رزینی می تواند نقش فرول را در افزایش استحکام شکست دندانهای پست، کورو کراون شده بهتر کند یا خیر؟ مواد و روش ها: در این مطالعه تجربی آزمایشگاهی 40 دندان پره مولر دوم پایین انتخاب شدند و به  4گروه10 تایی تقسیم گردیدند. تاج دندانها به نحوی قطع گردید که میزان ریشه باقی مانده 15 میلی متر باشد. سپس کانال دندانها درمان ریشه شد و برای آنها پست ریختگی ساخته شد. گروه‏های 1 و2 دارای فرول سرویکال و گروههای 3و4 بدون فرول سرویکال بودند. پست گروههای 1و3 با سمان گلاس آیونومر و پست گروههای 2و4 با سمان رزینی چسبانده شد. سپس بر روی تاج دندانها کراون ساخته شد و نمونه ها تحت زاویه 45 درجه با سرعت کراس هد 1mm/min تحت نیروی استاتیک قرار گرفتند  تا شکستگی در آنها رخ دهد. اطلاعات بدست آمده توسط آنالیزهای واریانس ANOVA و t مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. یافته ها: در گروه سمان شده با گلاس آینومر استحکام شکست در گروه دارای فرول از بدون فرول بیشتر بود ولی در مورد سمان رزینی تفاوت معناداری بین استحکام شکست گروه های دارای فرول و بدون فرول وجود نداشت. نتیجه گیری: در دندانهایی که برای چسباندن پست آنها از سمان رزینی استفاده می شود، وجود فرول تاثیر چشمگیری بر افزایش استحکام شکست ندارد.}, keywords_fa = {سمان,استحکام شکست,پست کور}, url = {https://jmds.mums.ac.ir/article_1309.html}, eprint = {https://jmds.mums.ac.ir/article_1309_d20e2e70c819bc090725c4df7da07230.pdf} }
