In this study, we sought to determine the degree of conversion of metacrylate- and silorane-based composites using transparent blue matrix strip at different depths. Materials and Methods: In this experimental-laboratory study, 48 specimens of methacrylate- and silylane-based composites were prepared in pre-made molds in thicknesses of 1, 2 and 3 mm. half of the specimens were cured with transparent polyester strips and the other half with blue strips, and then they were hardened by using a light-curing unit. The degree of conversion was determined by FT-IR. The degree of polymerization was assessed by comparing the IR absorption spectra between monomer and polymer specimens. The data were analyzed by performing Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis tests in SPSS. Results: The highest degree of conversion pertained to P90 composite with using transparent strip in 1 mm thickness (45.5±1.29), while the lowest degree belonged to Z350 composite with using transparent strip in 3 mm thickness (14.7±1.70). In comparison of the four groups, the silorane-based group with blue strip (41%) had the highest conversion degree, followed by the same composite (silorane) with transparent strip (39.6%). Conversion degrees in these types of materials were much greater than those in metacrylate-based types (21%). Conclusion: In deep restorations with limited access to a light source, the use of silorane-based composites and blue polyester strips enhances the degree of conversion.  }, keywords = {Resin composites,Matrix strip,Restorative dentistry}, title_fa = {مقایسه‌ درجه تبدیل درکامپوزیتهای با پایه متاکریلات و پایه سایلوران تحت تأثیر عمق و رنگ نوار ماتریکس}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه:برای بهبود کیفیت ترمیمهای همرنگ دندان که امروزه به صورت شایعی در دندانپزشکی ترمیمی استفاده می‌شود، مواد و تجهیزات متنوعی ارائه می شود. هدف از این مطالعه بررسی درجه تبدیل دو نوع کامپوزیت متاکریلات و سایلوران بیس در عمقهای مختلف با کاربرد نوار ماتریکس شفاف و آبیرنگ بود. مواد و روشها: در این مطالعه تجربی– آزمایشگاهی، دو نوع کامپوزیت با پایه متاکریلات و سایلوران، به تعداد 48 نمونه قالبهای از پیش ساخته شده با ضخامتهای 1، 2 و 3 میلیمتر آماده شد. نیمی از نمونه ها به وسیله نوار پلی استر شفاف و نیمی دیگر با نوار آبی رنگ پوشانده شدند و توسط دستگاه لایت کیور سخت شدند. جهت بررسی درجه تبدیل توسط دستگاه FT-IR مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. با استفاده از مقایسه طیف جذبی IR بین نمونه مونومر و نمونه پلیمر شده، درجه پلیمریزاسیون تعیین گردید. داده‌ها با آزمونهای آماری من ویتنی و کروسکال والیس آنالیز شدند. یافته ها: بیشترین میانگین درجه تبدیل، مربوط به گروه کامپوزیت 90P  با کاربرد نوار شفاف در ضخامت 1 میلیمتر (29/1±5/45) و کمترین میزان، مربوط به گروه کامپوزیت 350Z با کاربرد نوار شفاف در ضخامت 3 میلیمتر (70/1±7/14) بود. در مقایسه میانگین چهار گروه، بیشترین درجه تبدیل مربوط به گروه پایه سایلوران و نوارآبی (41%)  و پس از آن همین کامپوزیت و کاربرد نوار شفاف (6/39%) بود. درجه تبدیل در این مواد، بسیار بالاتر از انواع دارای پایه متاکریلات (21%) بود. نتیجه گیری:در صورت لزوم انجام ترمیمهای عمیقتر که امکان دسترسی منبع نوری به عمق حفره نباشد، استفاده از کامپوزیت با پایه سایلوران و نوار پلی استر آبی رنگ باعث افزایش درجه تبدیل می گردد.}, keywords_fa = {کامپوزیت رزین,نوار ماتریکس,دندانپزشکی ترمیمی}, url = {https://jmds.mums.ac.ir/article_10887.html}, eprint = {https://jmds.mums.ac.ir/article_10887_8e83859658b5f77af0f00fb8f0d0b679.pdf} }
