Revascularization is a new treatment procedure for the management of these cases. This study examined the ability of demineralized bone matrix as a scaffold to aid pulp revascularizaion of immature cat teeth. Materials & Methods: Sixteen immature teeth from 4 cats after preparation of access cavity and cleaning of canals, were placed into two groups; control group containing blood in canal and experimental group containing blood + demineralized bone matrix. Teeth were treated with revascularization technique and cats were followed up for four months. Then periapical radiographs were taken and analyzed for presence of apical radiolucencies, apical closure and thickening of root canal walls. The data were statistically analyzed using Fisher's exact test. 0.05 was established as a level of significance. Results: The two groups showed no statistical difference regarding presence of apical radiolucencies, apical closure and thickening of root canal walls. In control group, none of the teeth showed any apical radiolucencies and 75% of teeth showed apical closure and thickening of root canal walls. In experimental group, none of the teeth showed any apical radiolucencies, 90.9% of teeth showed apical closure and 81.8% showed thickening of root canal walls. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, the demineralized bone matrixes do not have adverse effect on revascularization procedure and can be used as a scaffold in this technique.}, keywords = {revascularization,pulp,Demineralized bone matrix,immature tooth}, title_fa = {بررسی تاثیر ماتریکس استخوانی دمنیرالیزه به عنوان داربست بر رواسکولاریزاسیون پالپ دندان های نابالغ گربه}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: درمان پالپ نکروز در دندان‏های نابالغ با آپکس باز همواره مشکلاتی را برای کلینسین به همراه دارد. رواسکولاریزاسیون یک روش جدید برای درمان این دندان‌هاست. در این مطالعه توانایی ماتریکس آلی استخوان به عنوان داربست در رواسکولاریزاسیون پالپ دندان‌های نابالغ گربه مورد بررسی قرار گرفت. مواد و روش‏ها: 16 دندان نابالغ از 4 گربه پس از تهیه حفره دسترسی و خارج کردن کامل پالپ و پاک‏سازی کانال، در دو گروه قرار گرفت؛ گروه کنترل: خون در کانال و گروه آزمایش: خون + پودر آلی استخوان در کانال. دندان‌ها به روش رواسکولاریزاسیون درمان و به مدت 4 ماه نگهداری شدند. سپس رادیوگرافی پری‌آپیکال از دندان‌ها گرفته شد و از نظر وجود رادیولوسنسی، بسته شدن آپکس و ضخیم شدن دیواره‏های عاجی مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. آنالیز داده‌ها توسط آزمون دقیق فیشر انجام شد. سطح معنی‏داری نیز 05/0 در نظر گرفته شد. یافته‌ها: دو گروه تفاوت معنی‏داری از نظر وجود رادیولوسنسی، بسته شدن آپکس و ضخیم شدن دیواره‌های عاجی نداشتند. در گروه کنترل، 100% دندان‌ها فاقد رادیولوسنسی آپیکال بودند و 75% دندان‌ها نیز بسته شدن آپکس و ضخیم شدن دیواره‏های عاجی را نشان دادند. در گروه آزمایش، 100% دندان‌ها فاقد رادیولوسنسی آپیکال بودند، 9/90% دندان‌ها ادامه‌ بسته شدن آپکس و 8/81% دندان‌ها ضخیم شدن دیواره عاجی را نشان دادند. نتیجه گیری: طبق نتایج این مطالعه، ماتریکس آلی استخوان تداخلی با پروسه رواسکولاریزاسیون ندارد و می‏توان از آن به عنوان داربست در این تکنیک استفاده نمود.}, keywords_fa = {رواسکولاریزاسیون,پالپ,ماتریکس آلی استخوان,دندان نابالغ}, url = {https://jmds.mums.ac.ir/article_686.html}, eprint = {https://jmds.mums.ac.ir/article_686_8b868150ff73d9a4cfea36dd6f8a071b.pdf} }
