The clinical and radiographic findings and esthetic appearance of these restorations were also studied. Materials &  Methods In this study 30 class II cavities were prepared in primary molars of 18 patients aged 6 to 8 years old (14 restorations in control group and 16 restorations in case group). In control group all cavities were filled with posterior composite resin incrementally after total etching and using Scotchbond MP as dentin bonding. In the study group, a layer of 1 mm thick amalgam was condensed on the gingival floor of the proximal box and then composite material was inserted. The restorations were evaluated at the base line , one week, one month and six months later and also bitewing radiograms were taken at the base line and six month later . Results Success rate of restorations regarding anatomical form, marginal discoloration, and color match was 100% in both groups. With regard to marginal adaptation after six months the rate was 84/6% in control group and 86/6% in study group. None of the patients complained of any pain or discomfort. No secondary caries and no radiographic pathological evidence were observed. Conclusion It is concluded that long term in-vivo and in-vitro studies should be carried out in order to prove the success rate of the class II combined amalgam- composite restorations.}, keywords = {Restorations,composite-amalgam,primary molar teeth}, title_fa = {بررسی کلینیکی ترمیم توام کامپازیت – آمالگام در دندانهای مولر شیری (مطالعه مقدماتی)}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه  هدف از این تحقیق ارزیابی کلینیکی تاثیر یک لایه نازک آمالگام در کف سرویکال ترمیم های کلاس II کامپازیت در مولرهای شیری در جهت رفع مشکل ریزنشت و حساسیت پس از ترمیم بوده است. مواد وروشها در این بررسی 30 مورد ترمیم Class II در دندانهای مولراول و دوم شیری 18 دختر 8 -6 ساله انجام شد( 14 ترمیم در گروه شاهد و 16 ترمیم در گروه آزمایش). در گروه شاهد ،تمامی حفرات پس از توتال اچ و استفاده از ماده باندینگ عاجی Scotchbond MP با کامپازیت رزین خلفی به روش لایه ای ترمیم شدند و در گروه آزمایش یک لایه آمالگام به ضخامت 1 میلی متر در کف سرویکال حفره گذاشته شد و بقیه حفره با کامپازیت رزین خلفی به روشی مشابه ترمیم گردید. ترمیم های انجام شده پس از یک هفته، یک ماه و شش ماه بعد در کلینیک و بلافاصله پس از ترمیم و شش ماه بعد با رادیوگرافی مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت. یافته ها میزان موفقیت ترمیم ها از لحاظ فرم آناتومیکی ، هماهنگی رنگ و تغییر رنگ لبه ای در هر دو گروه صددرصد بود اما از نظر تطابق لبه ای پس از شش ماه این میزان در گروه شاهد6/84% و در گروه آزمایش 6/86%بود. پوسیدگی ثانویه و حساسیت پس از عمل مشاهده نشد و موفقیت رادیوگرافیکی ترمیم ها 100% بود. نتیجه گیری در صورتیکه مطالعات بالینی ‌طولانی مدت و نیز مطالعات آزمایشگاهی ‌بیشتری موفقیت ترمیم های توام آمالگام – کامپازیت کلاس II را گزارش نمایند میتوان کاربرد این ترمیم ها را در حفرات کلاسII  مولرهای شیری توصیه نمود و بدین ترتیب از ظاهر مطلوب کامپازیت رزین و سیل خوب آمالگام به صورت همزمان بهره جست.}, keywords_fa = {ترمیم کامپازیت,آمالگام,دندان مولرشیری}, url = {https://jmds.mums.ac.ir/article_1617.html}, eprint = {https://jmds.mums.ac.ir/article_1617_d1d2f9e259c390f7a55f3a7be19a0ed5.pdf} }
