The aim of this study was to determine the best shear bond strength of composite resin-dentin after different rinsing times of dentin cut with a suggested surfactant as a coolant. Materials & Methods: In this in vitro experimental study, 96 premolar teeth were randomly divided into 8 groups. In groups 1 and 2, water coolant was used and Excite® and Adhese® bondings were used respectively. In the other groups a suggested surfactant as a coolant was used. In groups 3, 4 and 5, after 5, 10 and 15 seconds rinsing with water, Excite® bonding was used without etching. In groups 6, 7 and 8, after 5, 10 and 15 seconds rinsing with water, Adhese® bonding was used according to manufacturer’s instructions. Composite cylinders were made and after thermocycling, shear bond strength was tested. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and Duncan. Results: Mean bond strength of all groups were significantly different (P=0.001) and were higher in groups 1, 3 and 4. The difference between bond strength of group 1 (8.37MPa) and group 2 (4.71) was significant (P=0.019). t-test showed no significant difference in shear bond strength between group 1 (8.37MPa) and group 2 (8.18MPa, P=0.904). Conclusion: The type of adhesive is effective on shear bond strength. Use of surfactant as a coolant followed by dentine rinsing with water spray for 5 seconds, leads to bond strength similar to conventional method with excite bonding while extending rinsing time, results in decreased bond strength.}, keywords = {Shear bond strength,dentin bonding agents,smear layer,Surfactant}, title_fa = {مقایسه استحکام برشی پیوند کامپازیت رزین-عاج پس از زمان‏های مختلف شستشوی عاج تراش خورده با یک سورفاکتانت به عنوان خنک‏کننده}, abstract_fa = {مقدمه: آماده سازی مناسب عاج و حذف یا اصلاح لایه اسمیر در ایجاد استحکام پیوند بالا موثر است. هدف این پژوهش تعیین بالاترین استحکام برشی پیوند کامپازیت رزین-عاج پس از زمان‏های مختلف شستشوی عاج تراش خورده با یک سورفاکتانت پیشنهادی به عنوان خنک‏کننده بود. مواد و روش‏ها:در  این مطالعه تجربی-آزمایشگاهی  96 دندان  پره مولر  بطور تصادفی  در 8 گروه  مساوی قرار گرفتند.  در گروه‏های 1 و 2 تراش با خنک‏کننده آب انجام شد و به ترتیب باندینگ‏های Excite® و Adhese® طبق دستور کارخانه سازنده استفاده شد. در سایر گروه‏ها تراش با یک سورفاکتانت پیشنهادی به عنوان خنک‏کننده صورت گرفت. در گروه‏های 3، 4 و 5 به ترتیب بعد از 5، 10 و 15 ثانیه شستشو با آب، بدون اچینگ، باندینگ Excite®بکار رفت. در گروه‏های 6، 7 و 8 به ترتیب بعد از 5، 10 و 15 ثانیه شستشو با آب، باندینگ Adhese®طبق دستور کارخانه سازنده استفاده شد. استوانه کامپازیتی ساخته شد و پس از ترموسایکلینگ تحت آزمون استحکام برشی قرار گرفت. داده‏ها توسط آزمون‏های ANOVA و Duncan آنالیز شد. یافته‏ها: متوسط استحکام پیوند گروه‏های 1 تا 8 اختلاف معنی‏داری داشت (001/0=(P و در گروه‏های 1، 3 و 4 نسبت به سایر گروه‏ها بیشتر بود. تفاوت بین متوسط استحکام گروه‏های 1 (MPa37/8) و 2 (MPa71/4) معنی‏دار بود (019/0=(P. طبق آزمون دانکن بین گروه 1 (MPa37/8) و گروه 3 (MPa18/8) تفاوت معنی داری وجود نداشت (904/0=P). نتیجه گیری:نوع ادهزیو بر استحکام برشی پیوند مؤثر است. استفاده از سورفکتانت به عنوان خنک کننده و سپس شستشوی عاج با اسپری آب و هوا به مدت 5 ثانیه، استحکام باند برشی هم‏تراز با روش معمول کلینیکی با Excite® بدست می دهد ولی افزایش زمان شستشوی عاج باعث کاهش استحکام برشی پیوند می شود.}, keywords_fa = {استحکام برشی پیوند,عامل چسباننده عاجی,لایه اسمیر,سورفاکتانت}, url = {https://jmds.mums.ac.ir/article_1261.html}, eprint = {https://jmds.mums.ac.ir/article_1261_d2ad64fce0147c046888a118d74eb65d.pdf} }
